Know Who We Are- When The Church Has Lost It's Way

The Church stands at a crossroads between Christendom, (the last 1600 years) and the new era of secular humanism.  So what does the Church look like in this modern era? Does God even recognize her? We need to come back to the Jesus of the Gospels, repent, and find a new way that more accurately reflects our call to be His disciples.
2 Timothy 1:1-14 NIV
14 Guard the good deposit that was entrusted to you—guard it with the help of the Holy Spirit who lives in us.

How To Live A Positive Christian Life

Hebrews 13:1-8;15-16 instructs us on how to live a positive Christian Life in today's environment.
We will explore how to keep loving one another in a Christian environment, to be encouraged to welcome strangers into our homes, remember those in prison, especially those who are there because of their confession of Christ. To uphold Christian marriage. Be aware of seeking after wealth  instead of relying on God for our every provision. Remember those who spoke into our lives, the wisdom of God. Understand that God never changes.  Offer Him our sacrifice of praise, which is our true worship that pleases the Father.
And happy Father's day to all dads. Model your parenting on the One who is Truly our Heavenly Father.

The Birth, Death and Resurrection of God's Plans For Us

Irrespective of age or gender, God has a plan for each of us. Finding that plan requires faith and a listening ear. Sometimes that plan comes as a dream or a vision. It is birthed in us but we get in the way of it and it dies. In the dying, God is then able to rebirth it in glorious resurrection power. The plan is fulfilled.

Verse of the Week

John 14:12-14 (NIV) 12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.
