The Birth, Death and Resurrection of God's Plans For Us

Irrespective of age or gender, God has a plan for each of us. Finding that plan requires faith and a listening ear. Sometimes that plan comes as a dream or a vision. It is birthed in us but we get in the way of it and it dies. In the dying, God is then able to rebirth it in glorious resurrection power. The plan is fulfilled.

God's Plans and Strategies give us our Hope for our future

 Giving God control of our lives ensures we have the future He planned for us.

The Cost of Forgiveness

Light and Darkness, Sin and Forgiveness

5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[a] sin.

8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

Focus

It's easy to get distracted and make excuses. When Jesus calls us to do something, we need to focus on that and not lose sight of the big picture.

Luke 9:57-62

⁵⁷ As they were walking along the road, a man said to him, “I will follow you wherever you go.” ⁵⁸ Jesus replied, “Foxes have dens and birds have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” ⁵⁹ He said to another man, “Follow me.”
